A SC14 is suitable for up to about 2 lt yes?
Would it be correct to say that you could use two to feed a 3.5 lt V8, one per bank feeding through two carbs or throttle bodies or inj setups?
just curious

nahh, go all out with two Eaton M90's heh heh
surely if you are going to that effort there'll be some charge cooling?
SC14 is suitable for 2L for stock boost, but how much more?
1.4 x 2 x SC drive ratio / 4 = boost.

Ya formula isn't quite correct.Ya forgot the basic principle of what the engine is "four stroke" (only draws half the capacity per Rev..)
Gotta agree with ed_ma61 comments regards going for a Eaton.MP90 as opposed to the MP62..not as much parasitic drag for the same volume and the availabilty of bigger boost (hp and torque)(if wanted)at lower Revs.

Eaton 62 or 90 $2800 plus extras
SC14 a few hundred each
Hmmmmmm
Just thinking for price difference, Would be used at just std boost. and would an eaton blow 4 or 8 throttle bodies?

If ya go to GMH the blower price is a lot,lot less..(blowers for 3.8's) Plus setting up for 2 blowers is a pain in the ....not to mention the amount that you will have to spend on manifolds,Belts etc,etc..BTW what 3.5 is it for ?? If its for a toyota 4v engine forget it ..the dizzy is in the way..

Ok it's for a rover V8, going into a Range rover. Just an idea at this stage but there's plenty of room for two.
Not withstanding the difficulties etc, is my assumption correct that two would keep up with the needs of 1/2 a 3.5lt?

Yep your assumption is correct ....I'm sorry if I sound negative about doing it,but I tend to work to the K.I.S.S. principle
Keep It Simple Stupid.! One Blower for one motor..Tends to make things not as complicated or time comsuming, regards specialist (read 1 off is costly)tooling,brackets,etc.etc.and also not having to blue-print both blowers for clearances (no point in having 1 blowing out the other)
I think ed_ma61 summed it up as politely as possible by saying use 1 (a big 1 for future upgrades)
Cheers

LOL , my apologies
a guy on ebay had a new M90 for about $600 a little while back...
and yes, two SC14's should be fine capacity wise...

as above - have seen the odd m90 pop up for 600odd USdollaro's on ebay... worth looking out for.
then again, it IS going in the fourby, how much effort you want to put into the engine? do the heads on the engine, port it and put a decent carb and be done with it... thats my 2c
