Hi, im a newbie to toyotas and just wanted to know which out of the 3.0L turbo supra around 89 model and the 2.0L twin turbo supra around 89 model as well, is better in terms of performance, power and potential?

7M-GTE vs 1G-GTE, definately 1G-GTE. 
Same power, less fuel.
As to the question of MA70 vs GA70. Definately the MA70. The xA70 body is way too heavy for a 2.0L off boost.

7M-GTE 3.0L single turbo has more power
Nark? maybe after some modifications
In a heavy car such as a Supra there is quite a difference. The 7M has much more torque

Oh, and a stock (Gen 3) 1G-GTE will make the same (peak) power as a stock 7M-GTE. This has been proven at the Toymods dyno days.
