Another vote for a new Toyota item. Mine cost about $160 and didn't cause a single problem.

hmm...so a stock toyota head gasket, with some ARP studs, and all done properely, it should be fine with a bit more then stock boost levels? Shocked it sounds like a heap cheaper option

id do that then.. just a toyota one and wack a bit more tourqe on them..
i had a quote for $1800 + for a workshop to do it. includes machining the head and block etc. etc..

if u were to take the price of the gasket, and machining the rest would be labour.. roughly $1200 for labour.. whats the deal!
$50/HR rate , its not gonna take hrs + of labour!

Thats the reason.

If they are machining the block, it means removing the motor, complete diassembly and rebuild !!!!!
