I am thinking about buying one of these just for fun... I would use it to cruise down to the beach or down to the milkbar. I reckon they look cool. 
Has anyone here bought one or know of people who have one? And more importantly does anyone have one for sale? I don't want one of those tacky stand up ones. The Harley Super Chopper is the one I want.

I rang the place in Niddrie today to ask them some more details... The guy said that only some of them are allowed to be ridden on the streets. The ones that aren't are generally the racing looking ones. 
They have only gotten the bikes in the store this week so they havent got the internet site set up properly and haven't decided on an exact price.
He said that some kind of modification needs to be done to the others to make it legal to ride them on the streets. They don't need to be registered because they are all less than 50cc. 49cc and 47cc
Price wise I am not sure. There was one on Yahoo auctions for US$270 + US$140 shipping. And there's a mini harley in a shop window near my house for $750. The woman that I spoke to was a clueless bitch and let her stupid rat dogs jump on me and bark.  I felt like grabbing the bike and running over the dogs on my way out.

bahahahahahahaahah! i really dont care much about legality of riding these bastards on the streets. Thats why they made footpaths! That harley is damn sweet but $750 i can buy a motor for my excel with that money. "Shakes his fist at the excel"

You wouldn't want to ride those things on the footpath. The tiny little wheels would tend to seek out holes and ruts to get caught in and flip you over the bars. 
As for the price. The one from the US equates to less than $600 with the current exchange rate.

I have a muscle condition that means I can't walk very far... I should get a rebate on one. Maybe 50% off or even 75%. I "need" one.

Thank you, its just what i need.......... no more car for me im gonna have a mini bike!!!!!!
also i think we should raise a bit more money to get leather jackets and helmets and if we can a bit of performance bits on our bikes.
