i got a set of super low king springs on my car (st162 celica) and the front compresses so much the the coils fully compresses and it knocks really hard...
Should lowered heavy duty shocks solve this or is the spring to weak?

this is written and highlighted in yellow in the kings springs catalogue
NOTE: Kings Super Low Sports Replacement Coil Spring Range is designed primarily for cosmetic enhancement (show cars etc). These parts may therefore render your vehicle illegal for use on public roads.

Considering Kings standards will generally lower your car, Superlows are a stupid idea unless you don't actually plan on driving the car.

I have "Super Low" King springs fitted to my ae92 corolla, and I've had them fitted for around 3.5 years and the only issue I come accross are stupidly designed speedbumps, though most I have no issues on though.
They were installed at the same time I had my shocks replaced, which are Monroe GT's, prior to that it had stock toyota gear fitted, which was handling more like a boat round a bend than a corner in a car. These days I just rip right into corners

king spring super lows have a really shitty coil and they arent half as stiff or well made as Lows
If you want to lower ur center of gravity and have a decent ride get the lows.
the super lows are made only to enhance looks... i.e not meant to be driven on..or are stupid too
change back to std lows and you will enjoy a much nicer ride

thats bollocks with the comment about not meant to be driven on, sure its a bumpier ride than the lows, but it still performs well on corners, and has done for some time.
Though, it is ultimately up to personal choice, I dont mind the extra bumps, it hugs a tight corner when I want it to.. and thats fine with me

they arent made more rigid and thats their problem
they arent as stiff as even the lows
and when that low causes it to bottom out easily
basically they arent made for performance enhancement

Shocks will help, there's only so much a shock absorber can do and when you stiffen the spring up considerably the shock is worked alot harder and tends to cause oscillatory behaviour in your suspension.
Can I just say, having ultra low springs is just so bad for a road car - please *don't* do it as the suspension componentry WAS NOT DESIGNED to take loads at extreme angles all the time, and when you sit on the bump stops all the time around corners you are just asking to screw any number of suspension members.

Normal Kings lows would be good, nice firm spring, lowered but not having the car stupidly low that it spoils the handling.
