Mitch/Stumpy - looks like the three of us will be leading the old farts club!!
Mitch - if your car isn't running do you need a lift? I believe you are somewhere near Clint's place which isn't that far from my place.
Let me know.

Regards

Peter

I'll field this one for Lauren.....

Twin Webbered, 18RG. Slightly worked too! (high comp pistons, lumpy cams etc)

I wouldnt hate the thing so much if I didnt spend so much time on my back buried under it Razz

Howdy all
on behalf of the founding members.. ie Ross, Rob & Myself - thanks to all that came on the first OldSkool Toys cruise!! Rolling

I thorougly enjoyed the day, despite the bad weather - on the other hand it provided a few highlights too!! We saw a few people sideways.. and someone spin it 180! Luckily no other cars were involved, so we could all have a laugh. Laughing hehe
The rest of the cruise was well behaved and incident free. Even the cops we passed in Lesmurdie we happy to let us cruise on without hassle.

"Sik cars on the day" awards go to:
- Matt for his 1JZ conversion '86 Supra.
- Lauryn for her "MISFIT" Celica.
- And the two tidyest Mk2's in Perth, My "TRD 83" and "82MKII". Razz

Special mentions go to:
- Graeme in his red mk4 Supra - coming all the way from Bunbury!
- Ross in his recently panel beated and busted auto gearbox Cressida but still cruisin!!
- The 'L' plater (sorry didn't catch your name) in his Celica
- and Neil in the Cordia for being the only non-toyota there... but still oldskool!! Very Happy

Once again - thanks to all who came and made it an event - and also, big thanks to Ross (aka Purple Monkey) for getting the ball rolling and planning out the first OldSkool Toys cruise!!! Thanks heaps man!

ps. I've added a folder called "Cruise 270604" for digital photo's people took on the day @
http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/oldskooltoyot a/lst (sorry only OldSkool Toys members can view the pics I think)
I'll be putting my pics in there once I edit them a bit.

Look forward to the next cruise!!

Cheers

yeah - I think thats all that was missing was an old skool Soarer... and would have been also nice to have an old MR2 out there... but there is always next time!

Lauryn - next time you should bring both cars!! Get you Co-pilot to drive one!! Smile

to all - keep an eye out for a new post in the near future... as mentioned on the day, I'll probably organise another cruise in August.

cheers
