4agze conversion Help?? Tue, 11 May 2004 12:13 Go to next message
Hey,
Well I'm up to doing the fuel for my conversion. 4agze into a KE70. Just wanted to know if I have to change the metal fuel lines that run down the tailshaft or is it just the rubber ones to and from the fuel pumps, engine, fuel tank.

Thanks

You definately need to change the rubber hoses to efi hose, as for the metal hoses, go for something around the 10-12mm mark, im not sure what size they are standard but its better to be safe then sorry, it doesnt cost much, plus if you go for serious power down the track youve got the lines ready for it.

what steve said.

annealed LPG line is cheap and flexible and tends to work very well and is MORE than big enough Smile

don't forget your surge tank and lift pump to that either.

Yeah, I've got my surge tank and lift pump to the high pressure efi pump. Just wanted to make sure if i had to or not. The LPG line you speak of, have you used it personally? and where could i source it from?

Thanks

Don't bother changing the steel lines. I am putting out 110rwkw using the stock little lines. If you are shooting much bigger than this maybe, but if it aint broke don't fix it.
