F Seires IRS-to-Live Swap

Just wondering if anyone has actually fitted one of the IRS gearsets into a live axle diff? I know they're technically the same and people say they go together.. but I heard wind from someone who tried to do this with a G-series that there was about 20mm difference in pinion length.
I have just purchased an MA61 LSD (IRS F-series Supra Mk2) with the aim of putting the LSD into my MX13 (live axle F-Series Corona Mk2).
Not really so concerned with the gears themselves (they are both 3.9xx anyway), but wanted to confirm that the LSD would definitely swap over with no issues?
I have searched, but there are no comments I can find from anyone who as actually done it or knows someone who has.. just a bunch of people saying it can be.

I have IRS and an open diff in my car... What would be the best LSD upgrade option? LSD from an MA61?

Define "best". Personally I'd go with a TrueTrac, but it costs a lot more than a worn-out MA61 LSD.

The TrueTrac LSD's have to be imported from the US right?
"Best" means easiest upgrade with good results

Any centre designed for an F series diff will be equally easy to install. You'll get "good" results from any LSD but IMO the helical TrueTrac is superior to the clutch-type factory LSD. What it really comes down to is how much you can afford!
I purchased my TrueTrac from the US but I've heard rumours you can buy them locally through various offroad parts suppliers. I tried a few last year but didn't get anywhere so I just ordered one from the US, it seemed easier at the time!

Ahh I see... Money only becomes an object LSD wise when the actual centre costs me more than $700 I guess, but for that sort of price I want a damn good one!

Like Norbie, I also have a truetrac for the MA61 fitted. But at the moment the car is in the workshop. But the Truetrac diff is very costly (around 1G from US) but worth every cent if you can afford it.
Cheers

7M Brisbane, both Craig Deane and myself have successfully installed the IRS MA61 LSD centres into the MKII Corona live axle assemblies.(3.9:1)

I actually felt it relevant, because there's no point sending someone on a wild goose chase to find a centre/ratio from a car that they can't actually use...
...anyway I have my answer so I'll shut up now
