Hey all,
Just asking what is the standard offset on the the toyota sprinte ae86. I am just looking for new wheels at the moment and just seeing what will fit and all. Also anyone recommend and great wheels to buy for the car?
Thanks

Search button yields great power...

however while he's here, the offset is +27mm.

rex is right for stockers

anything close to 0 offset is good
i run 7" +4 fronts and 7.5" -11

anything above +35 is a steer clear zone

i've seen the diagrams...read heaps of threads and even searched online and have never been able to grasp this wheel concept...anything to do with them at all confuses the hell outta me...track, offset blah blah

is there a good site out there that can explain this in simple child like form so i can finally understand...or perhaps it's too late for me and the idiocy is permanent

when you're talking -11 i gather the wheel is sitting further inward than outward...but -11 is that an actual measurement as in millimeters or something.

gah! my brain gave up working a long time ago

Not sure either,
But I think the more offset towards 0 the more the wheel sit in the car. I heard on club 4ag the standard offset of the sprint is 18+ correct me if I am wrong

okay

negative offset = DISHED WHEELS
positive offset = FLUSH WHEELS

the measurement is in mm i think!! (not sure on this)
-11 would mean the wheels are 11mm CLOSER to the OUTSIDE of the car so the rim would be flush almost but the center would be dished back into the hub

yeh?

(someone can correct me on the measurement thing)
