Hi all,
a mate down in Melbourne has been trying to organise a bloke to make up pillow ball mount camber-adjusting strut tops for the AE86. rough quote so far is $350 a pair.
would any list member be seriously interested in a pair of these? they will most likely be virtual copies of what CUSCO offer, but significantly cheaper. I'll be buying a pair regardless if they guy does them, but thought I should offer this also to the group.
any takers?

Just waiting for a few bills to come in, if there's any money left in the kitty I might be in also.

I dont suppose there is any chance of these fitting the ra2x/cortona xt130 struts? I suppose if they did you would have said so

Hi Justin, what's the difference of these that you're offering, compared to the K-Mac camber plates? (Coz K-Mac priced them fitted in the low $300.00s)

GT20v,
these tops,if the job goes ahead of course, will look similar to the pics below. the kmac tops don't offer a lot of adjustment, where these units will;also these units are using spherical top bearings, where the KMAC units are urethane bushed, with a standard ball bearing. as I said in my first post, these will essentially be a proper pillow ball sliding camber-adjusting strut top, like the units CUSCO and so on offer. they should also be setback slightly from centre in the tower,to add about a degree more caster as well.

I would be in on this, but I am getting real Cusco strut tops
$350 is a good deal, I had been looking for a while before I lined them up. Noltec are unwilling to make them and K-MAC are unadj which is crap for more than $150.
