HELP waste gate problem

i have just got an exhaust system install,small TO4 and an external waste gate to a 1ggte motor.
but it doesnt produce any power, no sound from waste gate as well.
i was told that if i dont have a boost control then only connect one vacuum line to the waste gate.(one in middle of the waste gate)
how come i cant feel any power, the car revs high but i cant feel the g force.
i use to feel more power out of the old twin turbo so y is dat?
can any one help me??????

does it even register boost, do u have a boost guage.
maybe the wastegate is jammed wide open

What do you mean by: "no sound from waste gate as well"?
Hooking the vacuum line up to the wrong fitting would only make it overboost (as the valve would be pushed into its seat instead of off it).
What sort of wastegate is it? Brand? Size? new or second hand?

does anyone have any idea why i dont have any power as i just change from twin turbo to single turbo plus i've got external waste gate and 3inch sytem on

Hmmm let me look into my crystal ball.
Nope, nothing. I think you might have to take it to a workshop where they can actually see the car.
