AE86 Boss Kit / Autobarn has no idea Wed, 12 May 2004 13:47 Go to next message
Hello I'm trying to find a boss kit for my GTV Levin, I've only been to Autobarn (Auburn) and they don't have one listed for AE86, and yes I told them it's known as Sprinters in Australia. Could I use a kit for AE82 or AE92?

Thanks
Erik

Yeah, there is. I have bought one of the two left. Check it out, its from GT Star.

The Autobarn boss's tend to be a bit short for a sprinter, and leave barely enough room for fingers between the indicator stalk and your wheel. Depending on how dished your wheel is.

If that fails, SAAS make one for the Sprinter (hey the company even lists it):

http://www.autoconcepts.com.au/prod_adaptors_stand _fr.htm

When the page opens look for the link to the sprinter one on the lower right - you will have to scroll.

Cheers

When you say 'sprinter boss' are you refering to the depth or the no. of splines? Coz most toyotas have the same no. of splines.

When I spoke to SAAS they assured me that it was made extra long just for the sprinter.

I asked for the actual length at the time, but the guy just did not know.
