I'm turboing my 7mge in the ma70 right. The car has an existing oil cooler, obviously no oil squirters. Engine has been fully rebuilt, so i am not going to pull it out again.
Should i just run a larger style oil cooler to substitute for the squirters?
Blake, the oil squirters in the 7MGTE will cause the oil to get hotter then not having oil squirters like the 7MGE the reason for this is that the oil hits the bottom of the pistons heating the oil up and cooling the pistons down. In other words the existing oilcooler will be ok seems you haven't got squirters... I think.
