Why do people not understand that you CANNOT TURN RIGHT FROM THE LEFT HAND LANE!!!!!

It happened to me again today and it was lucky I was still in 2nd and dumping the foot got me out of his way!

I hope none of you here are offenders of this one, but I am constantly getting cut off by idiots who just dont understand!!

I do know that it is illegal to overtake on a roundabout (and also don't do it cos it is a recipe for disaster), but have been caught out several time with drivers just ahead of me, just behind me or that are trying to overtake me.

The worst offenders seem to be older drivers. I suppose this could be because all young drivers in canberra have had this drilled into them from the start (note: common trick in driving test to ask driver to turn right from left lane -> turning your indicator on = fail).

I read in a magazine - People stop and view roundabouts with the same level of wonder as a crop circle, women see them as a great opportunity to do their make up, make mobile phone calls etc, young men feel the need to tackle them like they are the "caltex chase" and teh list goes on.

I agree, stupidity at roundabouts is no good. People should reserve their stupidity and unleash it upon members of their family in the privacy of their own homes.

I got a good laugh at one thing I've seen at roundabout I was watch this one bloke in this little Gemini lap around a roundabout about 20 times before driving off! (and round and round we go and round and round we go)

I remeber being about 10, and my uncle in an (successful) attempt to embarass me and my sister, drove laps of a round about with an icecream bucket on his head, hitting it with a wooden spoon while yelling look at me!

Try doing it quiker and quiker, round more and more, and then driving off. STUPID,SENSELESS,IMMATURE but funny, you fell like going back and doing it the other way just to get your head straight.
