If its out of the car, weigh it. Should be around 50kg. The c52 is around half that. The c52 is also physically smaller (I think).

how much stronger is the e5x then the c5x im thinking i have a c52 in my car behind the gze. then how do you tell the difference between the c51 c52.

Yep, I'd like to know how to identify the different FWD gearboxes too, I have a heap piling up out the back?!?
