Oil pressure (mechanical) gauge braided lines

Hi guys,
I've ordered a 2 1/16" Autometer mechanical oil pressure gauge (AU3321) and am unsure what braided line setup to purchase with it for my AE92 GZE. The gauge has a 1/8" and 1/4" NPT fittings (as do most Autometer gauges) and I don't want to use the nylon tubing as I am mounting the gauge inside the car (and don't want hot oil running down my legs at anytime in the future).
There are several braided line kits offered by Autometer but no helpful information on them anywhere on the net (that I can find anyway). There are #3 lines and #4 lines, both 4-foot and 6-foot lengths and they all come with 3/16" ID fittings (
Autometer braided lines).
My questions:
1. Does anyone know the difference between the #3 and #4 lines?
2. Are adapters available to convert the 3/16" ID fittings on the braided lines to either 1/8" or 1/4" NPT?
3. As my car shop hasn't got back to me with a price yet, anyone know roughly what these are worth?
Thanks,
JamitGZE.
