I got home last night.. expecting to see my Ma61 LSD that was meant to be delivered by the wreckers either yesterday or at latest today
got home last night and it was there, that was okay though cause it would be here today.
So i get home tonight expecting to see my diff and its not bloody there again.
I rang them thismorning and they said it wasnt there so it must be on the way for delivery... they have already taken the money out of my credit card yet i dont have a diff.
I damn well better get it 1st day monday morning!
whats with places and making empty promises like that?...
thats my rant for tonight..
probably coincides with my cars finish date being put back so often

yeah they should promise stuff like that!  a set date or something or if it can't be done to at least ring you and say "hey yer diff is gunna be a bit longer to get there we apologize for any inconvenience"

when i rang today.. they didnt even remember me...
what i hate... its always sunday when i need to get stuff done(like ring and abuse said people)
so ill ring them monday.. and theyll say it will be here tuesday(when i need to install it cause of day off) and it wont get here till friday..................next week

I would never pay a wrecker for anything in advance.... the number of times I have done so and not received the part is incredible.
I always pull things out of the car myself, and if not I wait while they do it for me.

This is expected behaviour from wreckers. Shithouse customer service is part of their industry code of practice; they're not allowed to deliver stuff on time, or use words with more than two syllables, or have good teeth. Common knowledge.

i refuse to get any parts shipped from wreckers yards now - after loosing 800 dollars worth of group A water to air intercooler gear to a fucking tard at a freight yard in melbourne ..
i now get anything major shipped with my cousins trucking firm , or get it myself , even if it means driving interstate to get the items ..
Im off to adelaide in 4 weeks or so time to recieve the SECOND intercooler ive had to import from japan. Ill be picking it up PERSONALLY and driving all the way back here in one weekend just to make sure some arsewipe doesnt decide that he needs it more than me ..

you guys need to embrace credit cards. ie: pay for stuff with them.
if you DO NOT receive your goods you can indeed charge back the item under "non receipt of requested item" - the merchant then has to prove that the goods were delivered to you, if they cannot then they wear the cost.
all my stuff is/will be paid this way. NO excuse for stuff lost in the mail anymore.
also COD is a good idea via australia post - up to $100 is insured anything after can be insured also. if it gets lost, you get your money back.

So i ring the wreckers today and ask them where it is.. and they say its coming out this morning...
get hopme at 3 pm and its still not fucking here.. so i ring them again "yes its on the back of the delivery ute now" so i ask "so it will DEFINATELY be here today?" and they are like "for sure"
i get home at 9 pm tonight.. and its still not here

my diff came today.. went to capalaba(40 k's) to install it and they have given me a hilux surf diff instead which i think is a G series LSD?
so now they have to change them over tomorrow
and i dont ahve time to install it for rest of week

but 40k's isnt that bad
i got told to drive to the workshop today(60km's from my home)
then when i got there i got told to drive to eagle farm for the meeting(from burleigh)
this is a little of the topic, but i got an apprenticeship out of it thankfully...sucked to drive that much but not as much as your situ!

99.9% are full of shit I got some front uprights/axle hubs for the MA70 over the phone "Yeah yeah compleate everything ABS ones" rocks up with a shaged bearing and the ABS sensors removed I ring back "Ohhh no mate the sensors are like $300 extra and just bring it back we will try and find you another with a good bearing (that thay told me they dont have in stock)"

okay so i ring them again today cause diff ahsnt been delivered and changes over.. "we gave you the right diff, its not a surf diff... its a supra diff"
so im like "you gave me the wrong fucking diff.. if it was the right one i wouldnt be fucking call you every day..."
if this diff doesent get delivered today then my conversion wont be ready until late next week

YES!!!
You asked for something that they said they had then paid for it, they didn't give you what you asked for and do not have one to give you. Therefore, they did not satisfy their part of the contract in your purchase. So you are legally allowed to get a refund and take you money elsewhere.
Then you can go and find somewhere that actually has one and pay for it on the spot!

hhe - well i could do that - my mates in adel and could pick the intercooelr parts up but not the major stuff that still needs freighting
+ i plan to install the W to A while over there - so i dont have a boot full of bits to drive home with , and make sure the parts get to my cousins freight yard safely too
