I've been quoted 1200 buckies for a complete gen2 3SGTE (from a sw20) and was wondering if anyone else had one for sale before I commit to it.

Just so you know what you're up against, the one I have been offered by a local yard is sub 100K, compression tested well, included all accessories, flywheel (and I think mounts) and came with a 1 month warranty to boot. It was minus loom/ecu and gearbox, which I don't want anyways.

Not interested in gen1 and would prefer one from a celica (which means ST185 or sw20 only) as it has the alternator in a nicer position, but beggers can't be choosey I suppose Smiley =.
If you have one, but want a bunch more for it, please tell me as I'll go snap this one up if it's a bargain.
Sorted

Also, ST185 or post 8/91 ST184 calipers & rotors would be nice if anyone has them. Sorted

Also, SW20 intermediate shaft (the thing that runs from the gearbox under the engine and connects to the driver side axle)

Edit: Looks like this http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~wtf/shaft.jpg
F*ckin Sorted

Cheers
Dave

ok, thanks to CLG, I am now sorted for a 3sgte.

Still need the calipers and rotors though.

Also adding to my list of wants. SW20 intermediate shaft (or stub shaft) and any brackets for it to attach to the engine.

Cheers
Dave

Looks like you have a bad cold there Dave Very Happy

I can probably help you with the ST185 calipers and discs. What are they worth? Can you organise your own freight from Brisbane?

It's pretty hard to find that shaft. Usually the wreakers don't want to seperate it from the axel.

*keeping fingers crossed*

Worst case scenario though will be shipping one across from the US. The ones I can find over there are really cheap so shipping cost will be the most expensive thing. I was just hoping someone would have one spare from a mr2 to celica engine swap or something.

OK, found a shaft in the US, last calls to anyone that has one and wants rid of it at a decent price.

Has to be a post 93 LSD one also.

If anyone has any info of any wreckers that have a post 93 sw20, please let me know.

Cheers

Actually found two in the US, one went for $187USD and one full set of shafts is currently going for $381USD Shocked.

Anyways, found one at Toyrolla in melbourne for $120AUD, the search is now over Smiley =

You're right, when they sent it up, it still had the axle attached, haha, anyone want a RHS sw20 turbo axle with ABS? Smiley =
