Im not to sure on the disc breaks myself and i am heading down this road very soon. I know there is one type of hilux diff 8' but no disc breaks and its the right width for the celica. Ive also been told that nissan skylines have the same width diff as a ra40 which fits nicely under a celica, and also the nissan bluebird trx is another possibilty...As for fronts what sort of stopping power do u want...what power have you got?????

oops, thats probably why I couldn't find anything on it useing the search
I am planning to put a 1JZ-GTE or a 1G-GTE into it.
Model/part numbers for the brakes would help too.
Thanks,

In short;
T13# strut will accept Hilux four-piston caliper (heaps of models). T13# strut is close to bolt-in for A23, A28 Celica but not A22. New Peugot F292 vented discs are to be used with Hilux caliper and require turning down.
Hilux 8" differential to suit A2X track width is N2# axle. Again, it's about 40mm wider than A22 but pretty close to spot on for A23, A28. Will require housing modifications to fit and no disc brakes standard.
1JZ in A23? Good luck. Start researching 1G.

you can have axles restudded, i don't know much more than that but i'm guessing anywhere that can fabricate the brackets you'll need for the diff will be able to restud the axles, don't know what the cost will be though
cheers
Matt
ps: i'm thinking i'm a bit worried about Britney too, i might have to see about this hilux conversion
