any T series diff will bolt in RA23/28/40/60 and some coronas too

pay attention to ratios, check the ID plate in engine bay the trans axle code will be something like T292

dont trust the ID plate in the engine bay!

on a car that old its likely that the diff has been changed at some stage, possibly with one that has a different ratio to original. I've been caught out by this before, thinking a diff had a 4.1 centre when in fact it had a 3.9

The only failsafe way to be sure is to count the teeth on the pinion gear & crown wheel to determine the ratio before you buy it.
