does anyone know if the water pump from a 3T-GTE is interchangeable with any other pump from another Toyota engine? Or is there new ones out there that can be bought?
Water pumps are remove-replace service items. Go to your local auto parts place (not Autobarn) and you can buy new ones. Not sure if 3T-GT will be a stock item but may be interchangeable with 3T-C for TE71?
The pump from a TE72 (T18) 3TC can be used, but you need to blank off the hose fitting that exits vertically from the pump inlet, as it hits the twincam head.
