	| The bellhousing will have a cast letter in the back of it, which is hidden once you bolt a gearbox too it, look for it on that mounting face, it will tell you what it suits.  My guess would be S series, but not sure of their clutch setup (which side).  It's safe to assume it was from a car with the exhaust on the rigth hand side as the clutch is on the left hand side.? |  |

	| And to me too, and as CLG said, clean it and find the letter cast into the surface.  It looks like the 1G bellhousing I have on my 1G-GZE with the clutch lever on the left hand side. Mitch.

	| i bought it off an importer and he said it was out of a ga70 (had mk3 rear location shifter) 
 But charles bough around an auto plate around and its a smaller diameter than the bellhousing..same pattern tho :S
 
 its not out of an s series celica either...its got the steel sandwich plate
