I've noticed the search function doesnt always find threads, esp recent ones.
any chance of fixing it?

its the most retarded search engine ive ever used...
BUT - ive found the more complex you make the search query, and if you actually restrict the field to one forum (rather than the whole site) the results are much better - but still far from perfect

Would definitely have to agree with Ed on that one. Try restricting your search to a particular area (eg. Tech & Conversions or Part for Sale etc) and you will probably have some better luck.

if you want to feel better about the toymods search engine, head over the old twincam16 forums and give that a go on something easy... 'corolla' for example. i guarantee you there will be zero results every time!

oh yeah... EzyBoard is by far the MOST retarded there is.
If you know the thread you are after, or know a 2 or 3 word phrase that wsa used, it really works well.
For instance - search for "thread tape" only gives a couple of responses, since it will only find a thread where the words "thread tape" exist exactly as written (minus capital etc)
If you follow the 2-3 word rule, it works pretty well i think. I usually always find what im looking for.
