so far inclusive of a new compressor its cost me alot of time but in real dollars i'd suggest just short of 600 bucks.

but mine is a DIY job, and, by all means not professional (although i've seen some pro's do worse)

my paint B167 amazon mica cost me $168 for 4 litres. pearl included in the metallic.

how good you want the paint job all depends on what sort of money you spend on paint i.e my protec paint 4ltrs of basecoat and 5litres of clear and its 2pak was worth $680 but its awesome paint, and a good paintjob also depends on how the car is prepped i.e repairs, primed and sanded for a smooth finish cause the painting part is the easiest.
just concentrate on making the car straight as a gun barrel cause you will really appreciate it once its painted.

cheers mate

If you want it perfect then a full strip, repair, patch and perfect respray can cost up towards 3000 to 6000 grand.
Its not worth it unless willing to pay.

Strip and patch your self its the best way. then a basic respray from a professional will cost only about $1500 including priming. Or could prime yourself.

the more work you put in then the less the spray will be. Cause professionals charge high for hours spent. try and find someone who'll help you.

Agreed,
The price that it cost me was a bare metal respray, if you do it that way then add some more for bog and paint stripper and somewhere to strip the car also because the EPA dont like it when you was paint down the drain.

or if your lucky it can be real cheap...i found somewhere to get red metalic paint with pearl for $130 and primer was $40.....apart from that i have paid a few dollars for some sand paper and the rest is just labour...so just over $200 for a respray but a DIY job...Its still cheap depending how much u will do yourself.....
