Exhaust manifold stays Mon, 17 May 2004 12:05 Go to next message
I've got a set of original RWD cast exhaust manifold on my 100kW 4AGE, and was just wondering if the FWD cast manifold will have the same or compatible stays? Or are they completely different? Does it make much of a difference at all?

Also, how much difference in under bonnet temperature does the top heat shield on the manifold do? I'm missing it at the moment, am thinking of fabricating something up if I can't find one... Or wrapping the lot in heat tape?

I used the FWD shield, massaged a little bit and drilled a few extra holes in it.
