Toyota parts without going to toyota Tue, 18 May 2004 03:10 Go to next message
I've been trying to track down an air inlet pipe for a 7M-GTE. The squat rubber pipe that goes between the afm and the turbo, with a few little outlets hanging off it.
Anyway, toyota want like 90 bucks for it, and repco and auto-one say they can't help me. Do you guys know of any other places that might be able to get me this pipe for a more reasonable price? Or is it going to be a toyota genuine part only?

Oh, and wreckers aren't really an option for this part from what I've seen. The rubber splits pretty easily, so I'd like to buy a new one that'll last the distance rather than an already worn one from a wrecker, which I don't know how long it'll last before it splits.

Yopu might get a silicone one to suit but still pricey. or try unifilter or finer filter for a filter adaptor, they might have something in the right size/angle

ever thought of using the 'parts wanted' section of the forum Rolling Eyes

as for the rubber being crapped out: its a neg pressure line, its hardly under a lot of stress. im SURE you could find a 2nd hand one in excellent functional condition
