My girlfriend has just purchased a beauty of a TA22, however we can't figure out where the fan switch is. This may have a completely obvious solution but a previous owner cut away part of the dash to fit a new head unitand could have possibly affected things. Where was the control from the factory? I haven't looked into in too much detail just yet but worst case scenario I'll just install one of my spare Corolla switches under the dash.
If it still has the 3 lever control unit installed next to where the old radio would have been then the fan control is acessed by pulling the bottom lever out. One notch for slow, two for fast. If the prev owner has hacked up this area of the dash then its anyones guess.
