i ran a search andcouldnt really find what im looking for..
i'm looking into the option of puttin a 1jzgte in my vl turbo..
i want to run a beefy auto box.. i have a jatco auto that comes with the vl turbos and was wondering if they fit or someone made a adaption plate for them.. i would like to use the box i got if i can cos i know it is a tuff box..
but if i cant what would be your suggestions?? what is the auto boxes like that come on these sorts of cars?? can they be modded relatively easy to handle more power??
You would probably be better off with the correct auto for the 1j as they are all clutch packs and can handle the a bit of a power increase without any problems (not sure how much though).
If you want to run big hp through the box then you should get some ceramic clutches fitted etc but it all depends on how much power you want to put thru the trans.
