anyone here painted there 3sge cam covers? any suggestions on how to strip it well, would a grinder with a wire wheel buff cup be to corse for an alloy cover???

Take them to a head reconditioning shop and get them bead blasted .

I actually used paint stripper on mine & then straight on with wrinkle finish cam cover paint.
It never cam off and looks pretty good.
