I've had this speaker for ages, and its not being used under my bed...so its for sale.

its a professional speaker made in italy,
Power: 1000AES, 7000w peak
very sensitive (98db)
40mm excursion
4" voice coil

Perfect for DJ/ maniac home theatre person like myself. Ive already got 3 x 15' and 2 x18' so i dont need this one. I think its had about 30 mins use, which was my own personal use. FOR a bit extra i can throw in two 1" hi powered JBL horns. Would make an AWESOME guitar amp!

This is a low frequency PA speaker not a sub dude... not much use if you've only got one...

also watts AES is different to watts rms.
It seems to be only really used in the PA world and equates to somewhere around 4x the RMS value.
It has to do with the max throughput at its lowest impedance or something.

ok then its 1000w AES

or 700w RMS.

Did you read that actual website/ spec sheet? I'm pretty sure the manufacturers know what they are talking about.

its a low frequency driver also known as a subwoofer. Look at their 18" version...they are P.A subwoofers. Dont think you'd be smart to try and install it into a car

Thats what I was imagining whilst reading this post... Some fully sik bro installing da tousand watt sub woofa in da civic!

It would be good for a bass bin or similar.
