Can it be done with minimul problems. I know of a bloke who has just put one in a ta23 with out to many worries and i know that chris on these forums has a 1JZ in his but has a 1ggte ever been done succesfully.

If it physically fits in the engine bay, which I'm sure it will, you shouldn't have any problems as such. It should be pretty much the same process as putting a 1G in a TA23, or any other older car for that matter.

i only know of 1g's in st141 coronas and my 1jz corona. It will fit but i would expect it to be tight length wise still. Mine is VERY tight but off the top of my head i think the 1g is 100mm shorter than a 1j. I have a heap of room width wise, there is more room there than a jzz30 soarer! Also, people100 was looking at doing this so maybe ask him a few questions.
