Hey Ppls,

Im just wondering if a smallport manifold was bolted to a bigport head if it would seal properly? I knows its a pretty ugly was of doing things but would it work?

You would have to make the runners on the inlet actually taper up to the size of the bigport head if you wanted it to seal properly so you could run the right size gasket and drop turbulance at that point significantly. I use the same principle on my turbo manifold.

Made this mistake once (wasn't looking at the head, bolted on the wrong manifold!!), and no, it didn't start... Damn, did I just admit to this??
