Same diff, slightly different ratio. I think the autos are 3.9:1?

I have a 8/79 factory issued Toyota Celica Technical Specifications...it varies between General Spec. Celica and Australian Spec. Celica and now seems sometimes at odds with brochures and handbooks (from individual vehicles) I have collected..Range is the familiar 4.1 or 3.9 and the 1st Gen
RA40 Australian brochure has the LT Coupe 3spd auto at 4.1 and the LT Liftback 5spd Manual at 4.1 also????????
I do have an English brochure for 2nd Gen RA40 and it shows these final drive ratios..
ST Coupe - 4.100:1
ST,XT - 4.100:1;(I am guessing this is the Liftback group)
The ST Coupe with the 1.6 Litre engine only "seems" to have been available as a 5 spd manual.
XT Auto - 3.909:1
GT-3.909:1 Limited slip differential
So the last two would seem to be the ones to chase up..
I always thought the Australian RA40 auto was 3.9 so there you go..and it may well be?..not done a diff in a long time so hope this does not jinx me..
