yep side of the sump. just use a banjo fitting with a nut tacked on the inside of the sump.
if you dont have any banjo fitting go to your local mitsubishi wrecker and see if you can get the rubber hoses either side of the fuel filter from a TM magna (early square shitty looking ones) make sure its an EFI one tho. if you pull it off yourself it should be free or close to nothing anyway. just cut the hose off and use the barb with new hose. the fittings angle the line out at 45 degrees to the bolt so fit niceley and look stockin any aplication.
if you have the banjo fitting ignore all that incessant rambling exept tacking the nut on the inside

If your none to fussed on using thumb tacks or welding (glue? )
How about using the sump from the AE82 Twinky? Or wont it fit the 20v?

ae 82 and 92 sumps dp not go on the 101 (the 101 sump has a kink in it that the others do not have) I know all this as i just put my oil cooler back on my 20 v and it is so much better now. I put a fitting in after drilling a small hole, then hitting it with a taper punch, then i added the same size thread and screwed in a flare fitting that will be sweet in my return hose.
Hooked up all the rest "and bobs your uncle (or your aunt what ever way he swings)" and now the 20v is screaming again.

Leighp, I'm curious as to what the major differences you notice are. I am putting one of these on my 20V asap.

first difference was that i could notice that the oil was not shearing as much (shearing being where it burns and blows out as smelly smoke). Second difference is that i can run a thinner oil and the car performs better (due to less heat and shearing again).
In order to install the cooler i ripped off all the fittings around the filter, (there is a 2 part piece that attaches to the filter then the block, that is held on by 4 bolts, undo them then with a 27mm socket take off the bolt holding what ever that other piece is and inturn that piece will come off also. Then put the 4age feeder straight on, use the special double threaded bolt and attach a filter. then fit lines appropiately. as for the sump there are many ways about it, I put a fitting in after drilling a small hole, then hitting it with a taper punch, then i added the same size thread and screwed in a flare fitting that will be sweet in my return hose.
Others use a double bolt, what ever suits you. There it is
Sorry about the lack of knowledge of the part names, but i tried....all i know is that the car runs alot better
hunty i have a sump that i can sell to you that should bolt straight on........
