Having to pay for running costs for 3 cars is a bitch ... hence something has to go ... the sprinter has been a hell of a lot of fun, but just not an everyday car that I need ... more of a boy racer .. but unfortunately, i really need an everyday car .. (maybe an excel hehe)
i had big plans for this car but am lacking funds so i wanna see what interest there is for this vehicle ...
1983 Aussie Sprinter (blue)
Rego til 25 July 04
4A-GZE, extractors, 2.5 inch exhaust 98kw at wheels (dyno sheet)
FMIC
5" Monster with shift light
Microtech ltx-8 with hand controller
Lowered
Surge Tank
Good interior (bar dash)
Stock rims, new tyres (engineered for 15's)
Whiteline front and rear sway bars
T50
Engineer cert
however it will need some TLC major issues are:
dash
heater core
hatch has rust
if u are looking for a showcar, look elsewhere ... ONLY people interested in a fcking fast sprinter that needs some TLC need reply to this post ok !! A bit of time, money and effort and this will be an awesome car
Note that the engine conversion / mods cost at least 5k ... I do not know what kinda price I should be asking for the car ... so gimme an idea fellas

as it is, probably offer u 4 (knowing that u did the conversion!)...sorry to put the car down, but u never make money with cars, theyre like chicks, at the beginnin u invest money in em then u go to trade em in and they r worth shitall!
if ur willin to sell it for 4 man i would come to NSW for it

KoKo .. why will i regret ?!?!?! I have a 1ggte sillyca(that NEEDS to be on the road very soon !!!!) but yes .. sprinter does kick ass !! if i had not invested so much into the celica, i would be keeping this toy !
fub_ .. 98kws at the wheels in a sprinter = fast .. if u are wondering what cars it compares with .. its up there with SS, WRX, S14, S15 bla bla bla u get this picture .. i have never driven it to full potential ... too scared

note that people DO look for and pay for modified cars ... just think of the money / time / heartache / waiting you save when u buy a car that is already modified !!!

this car looks sweet, its a full sleaper, screw getting "mean" wheels, only draw attention from ppl like coppas n stuff. keep it the way it is i reckon, put some wheels on it and yea itll be easier to sell it to someone who subscribes to rice4's mag, but keep it the way it is and itll go to someone who is core and who will treat the car with the respect it deserves.

i can vouch for speed and quality of the conversion in this car, i was going to buy it, but Les came up with the money first. he didn't do the conversion, but it is damn nice in the engine bay (supra FMIC etc etc) not as fast as a wrx, but goes DAM GOOD for a 1.6lt and yes 98KW@wheels is DAM GOOD, my mate just fitted a 20v and only got 76kwATW.
wrap it up, nice nice car, needs some paint attention, FAST, needs an LSD!!! not much rust when i saw it.

If the car haven't sell of by July you might have a buyer offering like 5-6 grand when he come over to Melbourne.
Will it be a hassle to convert from a NSW vehicle to a VIC vehicle ??

stick this car in the trading post you will get 7 grand standing on your head if i can pull 4 grand for stock ones 7 grand is easily available for this bet i will be sold before thursday night evens comes the 1 i had advertised last week was sold at 9 am on thursday morning the first guy came out looked at it i told him were the rust was at in it he didnt even test drive it and payed me in full on the spot!! work needed for rego ... umm ... MAYBE a patch of rust inside LHS door B pillar (easilly fixed by painting over it with touch up paint ! Apart from that it will pass easilly.

Anything JEM does to a motor is always going to be spot on, he is a freak with Engine Managements, pure utta freak, if he cant do it then it cant be done.
