where to get alluminium polished?
Fri, 21 May 2004 23:36
ive got a hole pile of alluminium stuff i want to get stripped and polished, does anyone know a place that can do this around castle hill?
already done a search...heaps of info on how to polish yourself....but i cant get the dam paint off the cam cover to start polishing
i've packed on layer after layer of kwik strip and the stuff wont budge. scratching it with some steel wool gets it off but that will only get into certain places, forget the gaps in the 'toyota'
so i'm hoping for a factory that can dip them in some sort of acid? or am i dreaming?
or if somsone has a effective 'do it yourself' time consuming method, ill give it a go
I do not know polishing places but to get the paint off..."hot bath" .. acid dip"..Most wheel places have the facility..there is one I have used for wheels in that street when you first turn off Sunnyholt Road onto Tattersall Road...the street behind the Hyundai dealer ...not the bead blast place next to the the big green shed on the left...go further up into the industrial units at the end...its on the right..cannot remember the name..
