PML )
thats the funniest thing i've heard all week
some of the bigger US aftermarket chains have common 'aftermarket parts' at decent prices... better as Mick said to either find a stor with real people, or deal with the manufacturers themselves...
toysport in the US have gold plated toyota parts

fark, you took that the wrong way
we are all nerds here or we wouldn't be using forums
the poitn was that most ONLINE CAR SHOPS are run by nerds...
you know the deal, import shit cheaply, sell it with little markup since you have no shopfront, and undercut the real stores perfect plan.
ffs, don't get so uppity
i think it's also difficult to find the upper timing chain guides in OZ too... you can get them from toyota but they are abysmally expensive.. afaik there are not aftermarket sources for them
TOYSPORT (as i frickin told you before) DO sell the 18RG upper timing chain guides.... do some research
go and talk to toyota and see if the parts are available there before you start ranting... and find out what markets the 18RG was released in... also look up the ACL catalogure for pistons.. and then work your way up in price thru the different brands available...
