Rebuilding 4AGE Engine Mon, 24 May 2004 00:01 Go to next message
I need to rebuild a blown 4AGE engine, so they'll be a fair bit of rebuilding involved, pistons, rings, head work etc.
Anyway, can anyone recommend anyone good to rebuild the engine. Got badly burnt by a rip-off merchant last time I got a rebuild done, so thought I'd ask for your experiences before I started to ask around for quotes to get the job done.
I want to get the engine built in Melbourne (or near Melbourne) as that's where the car is at the moment.
If anyone has got one built previously as well as sending a name through, could you tell me how much they charged for the work?
Thanks,

Guess you could try Mr. Maloney, might not be an entirely cheap exercise though... Surprised
