Well i bought an electronic iginiton (dizzy, coil, ignitor) of a 5me from wilbo (thanks again)

So i went to put it in the coil bolted strait in hooked up all the wires changed dizzy caps over unbolted the old dizzy and sloted the new one in.

all fits nice but..

the bracket that bolts the dizzy to the block doesnt line up
im pretty sure the one from the 5me is cast in to the dizzy its self.

you can take the bracket off the old one but i dont know if you can get it of the 5m one.

any suggestions.

ohh and if your wondering why i have dodgy as the title therad

lets just say we started it up and it ran sweet but the dizzy was just free to flap around in the breeze so 30 cable ties and tape later it was secure

well kind of Laughing

i'll get picks

Die grind the bolt slit out or cut the outer section of metal out and get a bolt with a big washer or bend up a small bit of metal, drill a hole in it and clamp the base plate down.
I know its dodgy but it has to be better than zip-ties!
Or just look around and find a more suitable base plate.
