Trouble Starting (sometimes)

Hey all
Hopefully u can answer this question for me 
Usually (80% of the time) my car starts absolulety fine no worries (when driven recently ie:still a little warm...otherwise when cold, starts fine but hard to keep on)
Anyway ...seriously it starts within half a second no worries
but sometimes ....usually after a bit of hard driving but lately is seems like its random.....its reeeeeally hard to get it started....like itll take me about 4-5 goes of trying for 10 seconds each time.
I decided to ignore it but i knew it would happen at a very annoying moment....and that moment was this morning when i was late for skool....i turned it on no worries ...wamred it up...drove off....1 minute later i realised i forgot something so i went back....went to start the car again....it started doing its gay thing (i hadnt even revved it past 2k yet)!!!!....luckily my parents falcon (whoopdey doo) was there for me to borrow as i didnt have the time to stay with the car to get it started.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is causeing this cause its getting reeeeally annoying and i dont want to be able to not start my car when im in a hurry.
I cleaned the spark plugs....thats all ive done really as i have no idea 
GIN5IE and his mate and im sure others saw my troubled starting on the cruise on sunday
And once....and only once it started no worries....but i dont think anyone was around to see it !!!!

OH, MY, GOD!!!
