Brisbane anyone? Mt Nebo run?

Hey, this is my first post... I just started reading these forums.
How many people here are from the northside of Brisbane and are familiar with the Mt Nebo run? Its a long, fun run and I see quite a few good cars going up and down as I live up the top and drive this road 2 or three times a day. Haha if any of you people do come up here at nite, you bloody wake me up every time!
I drive a pretty stock white 4ac 86 and occasionally a white mazda 4wd turbo 323 so you may see me around...
Btw, I dont like encouraging any "stupidly dangerous" driving on this road. You see some crazy things on this road (e.g. two motorbikes head-on [killed both blokes instantly], being passed on my LEFT-HAND side going around a LEFT-HAND corner by a bike coming from the OPPOSITE direction), and I have a strong opinion that you can't drive at speeds anything above normal if you're not 100% familiar with it. But none-the-less this is a good fun bit of road for people who enjoy a bit of a drive.

i would be interested , especially if we get to stop at the tea hut at the top of glorious , and to make a few runs up and down the 3 ways to there , i like the dam side myself after being one of those bikes you talk about (ducati monster) i now trouble bikes going up the hill in my 323 awd.

might be worth your while cross-posting this the the Qld events section... recent run up to Maleny included this wonderful hill ... and with family now at Kenilworth, atacking that road from either ferny grove or petrie/bald-hill is becoming a regular event...
if you come to the next event, or even the drags this sat, you'll meet up with some of the folks who did the maleny cruise.

I'm in aswell, lets move this over to the QLD section and decide on a definate date... about a month or so in advance, that way we can hopefully get a turnout like last time.

jake - your car has done a nebo run before - following my old ta22
Me and simon had great fun coming back from there one day - ut at that stage 2 howliung 2t's and his rolling around on soft swaybars/suspension like a mofo made it a bit hairy
i think i remember going up - we were on a club cruise - and bar on straights my old ta22 was able to keep up with a turbo MR2 and a group a Gt4 -
Was a great day - ahh memories
