Do Australian versions of the MX83 have the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system that is described in the american chiltons manual? I can't find any of the hardware described in the manual on my car.

What are those EGR block off valves? Is that for the yanks only? Would they prove to be of any benefit for us here in a GTE?
