had a quick chat to the senior prosecutor during the morning recess of the court proceedings, and he decided to withdraw the charges, based on my evidence

I wanted to be offensive to the prosecutor, but he basically said the cops shouldn't have charged me in the first place, since it was a no-win case.
I guess they figured I'd just cop it and pay the fine like every other poor bastard out there. Makes me feel sorry for people who dont go to the trouble of challenging suspect fines like this
