some goose at the oil filter factory put a z148 in a z418 box and in my rush to change the oil b4 the drags on saturday i didnt double check it. it screwed on tight, i thrashed the car all day, and the next day it blew off on the way 2 work dumping the entire contents of the sump on the road. i didnt realize until i got abit 2 much dorifto around a corner and nearly put the car into a pole, caused by the oil allover my wheel. the oil filter was sittin on the engine mount so i screwed it on, it went on nice and tight and then i filled the engine up with oil and started it and it blew it straight off again. so i took a closer look at the filter and screwed it on again it went on fine and i gave it a bit of a tap and it fell off. i picked it up and looked a the part no. and it was a z148. the thread size must be slightly bigger. the engine seems ok but if it flys apart at drag combat thats probably why, there was slight bigend noise but its gone now.

I think everybody would forgive you for not looking at the part no. as it is just expected that it is right!
Bloody bad luck mate! Lucky you didn't crash with the oil on the tyres though!
