Throttle Cable HELP Sat, 31 August 2002 06:34 Go to next message
I have tried to take my throttle cable off my ae82 twincam to lubicate it as it sticks and Im having troubles getting it out.

I have taken it off the throttle body and pedal. Is there anything else??

when you first press on the pedal in the morning or after a long cool down - is that when it seems to stick? if so, then it isn't your cable. it's the butterfly/throttle plate stop.

Its seems to be when ever.
I was able to get some WD 40 down the cable and I lubicated the spring on the pedal and around the throttle body spring area etc and it seems to be pretty good now.

Thanks for the help anyway.
