ok, this ones got me baffled:
unsure of the date of production, or the country of origin, so if youve got any ideas, feel free to fill me in. details of the car are:
5m-ge engine, unleaded only, running a digital ecu has wheel flares + 14" mags the same as aust spec has rear bumper and tail lights like jap spec has fog lights like jap spec normal RH drive configuration has ANALOGUE gauge cluster in MPH (130mph/210kmh) has normal 'upward' hinging door handles like aust spec
sweet looking car, but got me buggered were it came from...
just interested really, ripped all the sweet looking bits out of it to slide into mine (goodbye digi dash!!!), but am curious to its origin.
cheers ed

It's probably from the UK, they got the 5M-GE over there and they're still in the dark ages with their measuring system (MPH).

Not neccesarily from UK, but definately a euro spec. I know of a guy in Perth who has one that was originally from Bahrain of all places Same specs as this one, 5m-ge, jap rear lights and analogue dash

The fact that it's RHD suggests it's from the UK. The rest of Europe is LHD isn't it?

yeah, im betting on uk too.
have to say tho, the analogue dash, despite being in mph (also has small kph scale) looks AWESOME!
tghe other interesting bit which i loved finding was that all the consle pieces arent plastic. their that soft semi-foam with a vinyl skin (like the dash). and its way better than the shit plastic weve got. NO CRACKS around the shift nob or mounting points. it alol went in today, and looks/feels shmick.
just going to freshen up the dash a bit, maybe change the intrumentaion lighting colour, and whack that in too. here's hoping the loom plugs are the same!!
cheers ed
and rob, dunno about the ecu... has astrange brown smear on it thou

Thats like comparing the A-pillar covers on my Celica to the Celica XX ones I got to replace them with.
I haven't actually pulled an Aus-spec Mk2 Supra apart yet...
