3sge smoke from inside rockercover/head

Smoke basically comes out the oil cap...
Was pretty minor in general like tiny bit but now i just dropped a friend home and there was enough to start coming into the cabin....
What would it be?
I always hear valve seals, steams, dropped valve sorta things thats my guess but i got no real experience so what do u rekon?

but seriously.. just check to makesure that line from the rocker cover is connected to something...otherwise you *might* have some oil smells and stuff

oh dude it *may* be blocked forcing crankcase air out the cap...
who knows.... could be valve seals too... BUT... if your PCV was working properly you shouldn't notice it like you are describing

hey thanks guys looks like ur right on the money
i got no idea what the hell that is tho, but i was taking the rocker cover off and its got that line connected and there was smoke coming out of it when the engine had been off for like... 2-3 hours.
So an oil can.... lol one sec lets see what noobie brendan can see lol. Be back with pictures if i cant find anything lol

dude.. I am a litlte confused
that hose off the side of the rocker cover should plug back into the throttle body near the throttle butterfly
It it has as blockage, you would have funny smoke issues from the head, that is what I am saying.
if it is plugged into correctly, no dramas!

argh im so confused i got pictures but no webspace ahah.
And the hose isnt blocked i just blew thru it there... must be a bloackage somewhere else i guess. you know how the rocker cover is split into two bits? The front side has the pipe but the rear side doesnt have a pipe... the side the oil cap is on. how does smoke get thru to the other side?  hence why its coming out the oil cap? wait no dont worry i get it thru the bit on the side. hmmm is there meant to be a slight vaccum? from the throttle body? Oh im so confused lol

ok dude
the "can" is just something I have on my car.
you saiy the pipe from the cover goes to the throttle body = good. that is what is should do.
You said your problem was smoke from that area, and that was the only other place I could think smoke would come out other than your oil cap.
everythign is connected inside, so it doesnt matter which side that little tube is connected to.. air inside circulates all around. As long as there is a "hole" for air to escape out of.
dude you would really have to show us where the smoke was coming from I reckon now.
