Engine is Low Km (new in 1997), new camshaft seals, rocker cover gasket/seal, water pump, all new heater / radiator hoses, new Timing belt.
Gen 1 engine i think.
Blown Head gasket -recent, not driven since
Overheated briefly once, airlock i think ()
Also have S-53 5 speed gearbox, recent synchro work, main bearings inspected and OK'd (told they did not need replacing) gearbox health - very good. $450 spent on the box.
make an offer if u need any of this stuff, looking to shift it in next few weeks.
email me acreese@bigpond.net.au or sms 0402 683 510

Oh then engine definately is not powerfull enough to be Gen 2 or Gen 3, what i meant to say was it is a gen 1 engine that was put in as new in 97, has done now 90000km, i am told its not a recon - and kinda believe whom i bought it off, he seriously loved the car (had it insured for 15Grand!) f**k knows how he got it, still have my doubts but it was seriously immaculate. Just pissed i did the HG !
Oh and the rocker cover on it looks different from the rocker covers on the ST162 engines i have seen in the past, i think it may be an MR2 engine, but as i said, definately not putting out more that 110-115KW.
i can still send u a pic if u like though mate, to confirm.
Cheers
Adam

Interested in the engine if it's in my Ballpark, can you give me an idea of the type of money you're chasing for it please?
