a 1g supercharger...wouldnt that be from a 1ggze.

do you want a 4agze supercharger (sc12), or a 1ggze supercharger (sc14?) ?

nevo make some pulleys for the 4azge, 164 or 175mm if i remember correctly...
some ppl seem to be getting about 10-12psi from the smaller pulley..

The sc12 from the 4agze does about 8psi with the stock pulleys. However I'm not sure what size pulley's your mitsu engine has...If you plan to go for bigger boost later and your custom fabricating stuff anyway, you might as well go for the sc14 from the 1ggze as it has more headroom for increases later on.

SC14 is good for what 12,000rpm?? (i think)

So figure out the ratio that is required by first determining how many revs you want to pull. The higher you rev the engine, the less boost it will make, as the ratio will be smaller.

So for example mitsu lists max power as 5500rpm. So take max blower speed 12000rpm = crank pulley speed of 5500rpm.

12/5.5 = 2.1

So for the blower to achieve 12000rpm at a MAXIMUM of 5500rpm (this is your new redline), the ratio of the blower pulley to that of the crank pulley is 2.1:1.

So measure up both the crank and the blower pulleys and figure out what ratio you currenlty have, then determine what you want.

you might require a little more than 8psi to achieve a low 14 pass. Most 4A-GZE equipped rollas do mid-low 14's, depending on the level of mods.

If you really want to go crazy - check out the SC20 Evil or Very Mad , i've almost had thoughts about using that bad boy on my celica.

Nevertheless, get yourself to a good performance workshop and do some talking before you make any concrete plans.
