Hey guys
Ive just gotten a subaru impreza LX hatchback. '97 model.
Its in good nik (low k's) and never been in an accident. got it for $1000 and now im wondering what to do with it. Wanna, oneday, have it moded up and looking like a real ripper but for now just wanna know some good places to start.

You can start on a good exhaust system with extractors and get it breathing better with a K&n air filter pod or get a replacement one that goes in your stock box and then get some cold air induction happening but it all depends on how much money you have to spend because the above are just basic mods that are fairly cheap.

hmms - not may on here have suby's ..
you could be bold and do a WRX engine swap - but expect big cash to do it
itherwise seeing you got igt for so low - Sell it for a profit , and buy something better if you want performance

Im sorry champ im not to sure but i think a rexy engine goes for about 4-5 grand but as i said im not to sure.
